The Vessel
Throwdown Charters operates on a 2002 22ft Pro-Line Bay Boat. Spacious enough to fish up to 3, and is perfect for inshore and nearshore fishing trips. The vessel is powered by a 2015 Mercury Four Stroke 150hp high performance engine. Dual 35 gallon live wells located in the rear, along with 16 rod holders, dry storage, and cooler space. Cushioned leaning post and seating in the front for maximum comfort during your trip.

The Gear
Throwdown Charters uses a blend of multiple reel brands for different applications, Shimano, Daiwa, Penn, Van Staal and Fin-nor reels, paired with custom built Barrett Rods and Harnesses. After years of abusing countless reels, we have found what gear holds up the best to different applications of fishing, from trout to shark, we have you covered on gear.
What You Should Bring
On the boat, we will provide the gear, terminal tackle, fishing license necessary for fishing. However, you may bring your own rods and tackle if you would like.
The boat is always stocked with Ice, cooler, waters and sun screen, life jackets, flares, throwable, first aid kit, and other safety items required.
Here is a short list of items you will need to bring if you wish
- Food and snacks
- Camera (We also have still and video available but pictures and film wont be available as quick as your own device)
- Towels or extra clothing
- Beer (allowed but not provided)
- Extra sunscreen
- Sunglasses, Hat ,Weather inclement gear
